It's time to celebrate


This term we have been on a creative journey through the chakras, exploring the theme of SACRED BALANCE. In delicious togetherness, we have laughed and we have cried, we've grown, we've sung, we've danced, we've moved and we've played! And we've created memories to cherish and celebrate.


So after nine weeks of practice, we will return to our intentions to reflect upon what we know now. Here are some questions to ponder with us....

Is my life feeling balanced right now? How do I know?

What do I gain from regular practice?

What do I need more or less of in my life to achieve greater balance?

What steps can I take today, in order to achieve this?

Even if we feel we haven't quite achieved the balance we have been seeking these past weeks, we have begun to open to the possibilities - creating some new habits to help us on our way. Some of these include:

  • Muladhara (Base) Chakra - Grounding our practice by setting a daily intention to live a more balanced life.

  • Svadhistana (Sacral) Chakra - Mindfully seeking a balance between our masculine and feminine energies to birth our creative projects and achieve our goals.

  • Manipura (Solar Plexus) Chakra - Having an awareness of our energy levels - our inner power and bringing about a healthy balance of effort and surrender, activity and rest.

  • Anahata (Heart) Chakra - Lovingly allowing ourselves to receive as well as to give generously, from the heart.

  • Vishuddha (Throat) Chakra - Mindfully balancing healthy self expression and communication with active (inner and outer) listening.

  • Ajna (Third Eye) Chakra - Learning to see through eyes of love and bring balance and compassion to our lives with clear sight and intuition.

  • Sahasrara (Crown) Chakra - Remembering our divinity and bringing this awareness into our humanity..into every day.

  • Opening to the light of awareness and practising "BEING with" ourselves, even while we are DOING.

These are just some of the highlights of our term's learnings.
